They Might Be Giants??
Just saw this article in today’s news about the DNA testing of these elongated skulls:
[You can see it here: http://www.infowars.com/dna-results-for-the-nephilim-skulls-in-peru-are-in-and-the-results-are-absolutely-shocking/]
This is interesting stuff. Reminds me of something Carlos Castaneda (anthropologist, New Age sorcerer, plagiarist) wrote when he described his spirit “ally power”/plant god named Mescalito, a demonic spirit named after the mescaline containing peyote plant. He described it as having a strawberry shaped head with green, warty skin and terrifying black eyes.
I’m also reminded of the demon named Aiwass that supposedly appeared to black magick practitioner Aleister Crowley. It had an enormous, bulbous head, like a strawberry also. And of course there’s the numerous depictions of the so-called alien “grays” (for the record I don’t believe in aliens).
Whether or not these two were ever real, and whatever these skulls are, we know the giants of the Bible were real. The Bible gives us an idea of what these creatures looked like. Obviously they were tall. Og the King of Bashan was a giant whose bed was made of iron and almost 14ft. long (Deut. 3:11). [Today in modern day Bashan there are hundreds of huge stone tombs called dolmen which are thought to be 7,000 years old. Inexplicable dolmen are found all over the globe]. Some even had six fingers and six toes totalling 24 digits (I Chron. 20:6).
From the Hebrew we learn even more about these beings and what they were like. They were the offspring of human women and physical manifestations of demons who fell to earth, hence the name Nephillim or “fallen ones, bullies, tyrants”. We know the Flood was intended to wipe them out (Gen. 6:12-13), however we find them inhabiting earth again after the Flood. They were called in the KJV “mighty men which were of old, men of renown” which could otherwise be translated “giants of a past world, mortals of renown reputation”. Sometimes called Gibburim or “tyrants, powerful warriors” they were usually called Rephaim meaning “invigorated ones” from the verb “rapha”, meaning “to heal” (as in Jehovah-rapha) which suggests they may have had the ability to heal either themselves or others. Also Anakim from the word for “chain necklace, as if strangling” and “stature” possibly indicating they had long, strong necks and some sort of brutal, formidable neck gear. They’re also called in Zamzummim meaning “ones who devise and plot evil” and Zuzim meaning “prominent, conspicuous, moving creatures” (some commentators have suggested that these are actually a phonetic names based on the hissing, buzzing sound they would make, a sort of “zzmmmzzmmmzzmm”). Lastly they’re called Emim from the word for fright, dread, fear, horror, and idol.
To sum it up, the Bible describes enormous, humanoid, demonic creatures, twice as tall as humans, extremely violent and brutal in warfare, with extra fingers and toes, strong collared necks, who could heal themselves or others, and who mades strange hissing, buzzing sounds, the sight of whom instilled such fear and dread that all who witnessed them either worshipped them as gods or were (to borrow a line from Egon Spengler) “terrified beyond all capacity for rational thought.”
Whatever these skulls are, they’re definitely interesting and one can only conjecture as to whether or not they are the bones of the Nephillim. Is evidence of the historicity of the Bible being unearthed? Do we now have skeletal, DNA proof of the giants of the Bible? If so, would the world receive it as proof of the truth of Scripture? In my opinion, the unbelieving world simply twist it into their false “proof” of the man’s biological descent from the pagan gods of old, whom they believe came to earth from another planet, seeded man, and engineering his evolution from ape to homo sapiens. Sounds crazy, I know, but anyone who’s familiar with the “Ancient Aliens” propaganda knows there are many out there who believe that meshuggas. Whatever the case may be, the wise will simply do as our Messiah commanded concerning these signs of the times when he said “Watch and pray”.
